Project Impact
The EnergyCAP project was an immediate success upon launch, logging improvements in search performance, visitation, and page speed.
Growth in energy management software is explosive, and demand continues to rise as corporations face pressure to address social issues such as energy efficiency, sustainability, and other ESG metrics.
EnergyCAP is the recognized leader in the energy management market with a competitive advantage few others can say – “the product really works”. They have a strong, diverse customer base, high retention rates, and gobs of rave reviews.
On the heels of a brand refresh, the team tapped Peaktwo to reimagine the corporate website. Our challenge was to create a modern, lead-generating experience that meets the needs of their three distinct audience groups. The result is a novel approach to SaaS design, with a robust Resource center, and lots of bright energy.
Persona-Focused
Modern websites need to be look good, load fast, be scalable, and a half-dozen other baseline priorities. The strategic part is where it gets interesting. EnergyCAP's website needed to speak clearly to three groups - all with different needs and pain points.
SEO Migration
Part of a successful website launch is the migration of existing SEO value to the new site. For some projects it can be as simple as a 301 map from old pages to new pages. For more complex, established websites it requires a much heavier lift to do it right.
SaaS, but not Saasy
Today's SaaS website design is pretty cookie-cutter. Vibrant colors, custom illustrations, and lots of feature content. EnergyCAP needed modern SaaS, but inline with a more traditional, corporate audience. Our idea used subtle gradients and line art to bridge the gap.
Focus on Education
EnergyCAP understands that they are more than a software seller. They are thought leaders in the energy management space and asked for a Resource Center that offered a unique experience for education-only visitors.
The EnergyCAP project was an immediate success upon launch, logging improvements in search performance, visitation, and page speed.
The team kept us on task, on time, and in scope. We’re thrilled with our new website and have been seeing month-over month-organic search improvements since launch.
